Bulk THCA Trim: Extraction Material for Processors

THCA flower is the trimmed, cured bud sold as smokable flower. Trim is the leaf material removed from that bud. THCA content is usually lower than the source flower, and the price per pound is much lower.

Light assist trim comes from greenhouse flower grown with supplemental lighting and is our $150/lb grade. Exotic trim comes from exotic-genetics flower, and exotic indoor trim comes from indoor-grown exotic flower. Both exotic grades are $195/lb.

Representative COAs on current listings range from about 12% to 22% THCA by dry weight, depending on strain and grade. Each product page lists its representative values, and the batch COA ships with every order.

Extraction labs and processors buy trim to produce THCA concentrates and other refined extracts. Pre-roll producers use it as fill, and infused product makers use it as a lower-cost input.

The minimum is 1 lb, and you can mix trim strains with THCA, THCP and CBD flower in the same order. Larger volumes are priced by bulk quote.

Representative COAs for our current trim listings show Delta-9 THC between 0.21% and 0.28% by dry weight, under the 0.3% federal limit. State rules on THCA products vary, so buyers should confirm their own state requirements before ordering.

Store trim sealed in food-grade bags or totes, away from light, at moderate temperature and around 60% relative humidity. Trim that is too wet risks mold, and trim that is too dry loses quality as an extraction input.

Trim is leaf material removed during manicuring. Shake is the small flower pieces that break off cured buds during handling. Biomass is a broader term for whole-plant or stem-inclusive material harvested for extraction. Trim and shake usually test higher in cannabinoids than biomass, and biomass usually costs the least per pound.
