CBC Isolate – Bulk and Wholesale
CBC Isolate is a 99%+ purity crystalline cannabichromene powder produced from USA-grown hemp through extraction, winterization, distillation, and crystallization. CBC is recognized as one of the four major cannabinoids identified in hemp — alongside CBD, CBG, and CBN — and shares CBD's non-THC classification, making CBC isolate suitable for finished products positioned across both THC-permissive and THC-restricted markets. Available in bulk and wholesale quantities from 100 grams through 100+ kilogram tiers with significantly reduced pricing at higher volume. Material is produced in cGMP-compliant facilities and third-party tested through ISO 17025-accredited laboratories with full Certificates of Analysis.

What Is CBC?
CBC, short for cannabichromene, is a non-THC phytocannabinoid recognized as one of the four major cannabinoids identified in hemp alongside CBD, CBG, and CBN. With molecular formula C21H30O2 and a molecular weight of 314.46 g/mol, CBC shares the same chemical formula as CBD — they are structural isomers, differing in molecular configuration rather than atomic composition. CBC's distinctive feature among the major cannabinoids is its notably low melting point (approximately 37°C / 99°F), which means high-purity CBC isolate may be soft or semi-solid at warmer room temperatures rather than the free-flowing fluffy powder format characteristic of CBD or CBG isolate. CBC is biosynthetically derived from CBCA (cannabichromenic acid), the acidic precursor formed in the hemp plant from CBGA.
How CBC Isolate Is Produced
1. Source Material. Production begins with USA-grown licensed hemp source material, with cultivars and harvest conditions that support viable CBC yield through the refinement chain.
2. Extraction. Cannabinoids are extracted using CO₂ or ethanol methods, producing a crude oil concentrate containing CBC alongside other cannabinoids and plant compounds.
3. Winterization. The crude oil is dissolved in cold ethanol and filtered at sub-zero temperatures to remove fats, waxes, and lipids.
4. Distillation. Short-path molecular distillation under high vacuum concentrates the CBC fraction by separating cannabinoids based on differing boiling points.
5. Crystallization. The CBC distillate is induced to crystallize under controlled solvent, temperature, and concentration parameters. CBC's low melting point requires careful temperature management throughout the crystallization step.
6. Final Purification and Milling. Crystallized CBC is washed, dried under vacuum at controlled temperatures, and milled into the finished format. Due to CBC's low melting point, the finished material may present as a fine crystalline powder or as a soft semi-solid depending on storage temperature.
Manufacturing Applications
Tinctures and Dropper Formulations. CBC isolate dissolves into lipid carriers at typical concentrations of 10–50 mg/mL, often combined with CBD isolate in cannabinoid-rich tincture formulations.
Soft Gels and Capsules. Encapsulated at typical doses of 5–25 mg CBC per unit, frequently in multi-cannabinoid SKUs combining CBC with CBD, CBG, and CBN for full-cannabinoid-spectrum positioning.
Topical Products and Skincare. Used at concentrations of 0.5–3% by weight in topical balms, salves, creams, and skincare formulations. CBC's low melting point can support smooth incorporation into warm-blended topical bases.
Multi-Cannabinoid Formulations. CBC isolate is most commonly used as one component of multi-cannabinoid finished products combining CBC with CBD, CBG, and CBN — building products marketed on the breadth of their cannabinoid profile.
Edibles. Incorporated into edible formulations at typical doses of 5–15 mg per serving, often as a co-cannabinoid alongside CBD.
Specialty Applications. Research-and-development applications, premium specialty products positioned around the major-cannabinoid narrative, and branded multi-cannabinoid SKUs for connoisseur retail.
Quality Standards and Third-Party Lab Testing
CBC Isolate is sourced from suppliers operating cGMP-compliant production facilities, with finished material independently tested through ISO 17025-accredited third-party laboratories. Every batch ships with a Certificate of Analysis verifying CBC potency, full cannabinoid panel, Delta-9 THC compliance, and screening for pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, and microbial contamination.
Compliance and Regulatory Considerations
CBC Isolate is produced from USA-grown hemp meeting the 2018 Farm Bill definition and is federally compliant for interstate distribution. As a non-THC cannabinoid, CBC generally faces standard hemp regulatory treatment at the state level.
Storage and Handling
Store CBC Isolate in a cool, dry environment — temperature management is particularly important for CBC due to its low melting point (~37°C / 99°F). Storage between 15–22°C (59–72°F) is recommended; warmer temperatures may cause the crystalline material to soften. Refrigerated storage (4–8°C) is recommended for long-term inventory management and helps maintain the powder format. Protected from direct light and moisture; sealed original packaging preserves potency for the typical 18–24 month shelf life.
Bulk and Wholesale Volume Tiers
CBC Isolate is available in the following standard volume configurations: 100g, 250g, 500g, 1kg, 5kg, 10kg, 25kg, 50kg, and 100kg+. CBC isolate pricing reflects the more limited cultivation and processing infrastructure for CBC compared to CBD. Pricing scales significantly with volume.
Wholesale Buyers and Procurement Profiles
CBC Isolate is sourced by manufacturers building differentiated minor-cannabinoid product lines, by formulators developing multi-cannabinoid SKUs combining CBC with CBD, CBG, and CBN, by topical and skincare brands developing cannabinoid-rich products, by edible and tincture producers building non-THC-restricted product programs, and by private label operations supplying branded CBC products to retail accounts seeking unique cannabinoid offerings.
